Tasting Notes
I am sure that you will lick your lips in anticipation of my 2004 Lulu B. Chardonnay which is a charming, brilliant gold color. The bouquet is warm and welcoming, has hints of citrus and gains in complexity to reveal notes of honey and croissants.

Once you taste my liquid sunshine you will find that it is both rich and fresh and with a long, generous finish and a taste of fruit that never ends.

Try It With
My 2004 Lulu B. Chardonnay is ideal served with light meats, grilled chicken or fish, tomato sauces, guacamole or gruyere cheese. Also try it with sushi, buttered popcorn or even a clambake on the beach!

Where It Comes From
I had a very clear idea of how I wanted my Chardonnay to taste so after a lot of searching I found the grapes for my 2004 Lulu B. Chardonnay from vineyards near Limoux, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, not far from the Mediterranean.

How I Made It
You will see that making my wine took a lot of work and effort to achieve the perfection I was looking for. It is all quite technical so I will try and keep my explanation as simple as possible. After a six-hour cold pre-fermentation maceration, vinification took place in stainless steel tanks. The temperature of the fermentation was rigorously controlled and the wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation. 15% of the wine was aged in oak barrels for a creamy finish and full body – not that kind of body, boys!
